Chicago’s Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre is a gloriously restored movie palace whose decor was inspired by the Far East. The theatre is a virtual museum of Asian art, from the grand lobby, with poly-chromed figures and large mosaics of an Indian prince and princess, through the inner foyer with the multicolored glazed buddahs. This theatre can create the most spectacular backdrop for your special event. Choose from an array of theatrical event spaces, accommodating anywhere from an intimate group to a large party that can weave through the lavish lobbies and theatrical areas of this historic building.

• Grand Lobby – entertain up to 300 guests for a formal dinner or a cocktail reception for 600 in the most spectacular setting in Chicago.
  
  
• Dress Circle and Balcony Lobbies – allows you to host up to 70 guests for a formal dinner or a cocktail reception for 125.
  
  
• Lower Level Lobby – provides a private space that will allow you to entertain up to 70 guests for a formal dinner or a cocktail reception for 125.
  
  
• All levels – allow your guests to weave through all the historic lobby areas allowing you to host up to 440 guests for a formal dinner or a cocktail reception for 900.
  
  

• Choreographer’s Hall – a fully mirrored rehearsal room that can host up to 75 guests for a formal dinner or a cocktail reception for 100.
  
  
• Rehearsal Hall – a fully mirrored rehearsal room that can host up to 100 guests for a formal dinner or a cocktail reception for 150 guests.

The exclusive Broadway In Chicago Suite is also available for private receptions before the show and at intermission, with the finely appointed Suite that will service up to 60 guests.
